Every day, we channel the contributions we receive into healing, addiction and trauma recovery, and advocacy for victims of exploitation. We rely on the generosity of foundations and caring individuals for our very survival.

It is only with your help that we can provide children, youth, women, and men with the support and care needed to survive and escape sexual exploitation. Through the unity and power of all our collective resources we can continue to change lives and work towards a world free from trafficking, violence and sexual abuse of women and children.

We greatly value each dollar of each donation we receive, and we have been very cost-efficient. SAGE spends less than one-fifth of our funds on administration. The vast majority is allocated directly to SAGE services and advocacy.

Please consider giving a gift of money, stock, supplies or the greatest gift of all, your time, commitment and love.

There are donation options for every interest and budget.

You can contribute to SAGE at your workplace through the United Way. Simply write in SAGE and our donor code #3278 on the United Way form and your donation will be deducted from your paycheck.

    Donate a Car
If you are interested in donating a used vehicle to SAGE, please call Volunteers of America at (510) 567-1117 and tell them that you want to donate your car on behalf of SAGE. They will pick up the car, handle the paperwork, sell the car and give the proceeds to SAGE.

    Community Thrift Store

    632 Valencia Street
    San Francisco, CA 94110
    (415) 861-4910

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, you can donate clothes, furniture and other items to the Community Thrift Store. Mention SAGE and our account #134, and we will receive cash from your donation. Community Thrift Store will pick up donations or you can drop them off.

    Become a Sustainer
Many supporters cannot give a large amount all at once. You can make a one-time donation or become a SAGE Sustainer by donating smaller amounts each month. By making a pledge to give monthly, you allow us to plan ahead, because we know your gift will always be there. The monthly giving program also helps us keep overhead costs down. Even a few dollars a month makes an enormous difference.

    Planned Giving and Philanthropic Donations
Some donors provide for SAGE through some form of estate planning, whether through a bequest (a gift of cash, stock or property through a will) or a charitable remainder trust (a gift through a trust agreement established while the donor is still living). Donors can also name SAGE as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a retirement plan. Every gift, large and small, will help ensure that SAGE can continue to help women and girls create healthy lives for themselves.

SAGE accepts gifts of securities, including shares of both publicly and privately held corporations, stock options and shares of mutual funds. A gift of appreciated securities held for more than one year may bring significant tax benefits to the donor.

Consulting with your qualified estate planner, attorney and/or financial manager can help you make the best decision about supporting SAGE through planned giving.
